We stayed in a simple room at Laureles Collection Uvita - Cabinas Los Laureles. It was exactly what we were looking for - basic, economical, clean, and safe. the owners were very enthusiastic about ensuring the best stay and the property location was great, just off the highway in a less touristy part of town. We loved the private forest with its hiking trails and the complimentary bikes for cycling to the beach. the food prepared by Cindy and Herman at the restaurant was absolutely amazing. it was a tranquil and remote experience, perfect for nature lovers who don't need all the fancy amenities. Cons: Nothing to fault 👍.

Brand-new room, all in all had magnificent stay.
The location was comfortable, for example, Uvita Waterfall was just a pleasant stroll away from the hotel. The restaurant here was popular with delicious food, we both ordered delicious dishes👌

For the value, I got a clean and spacious room with a nice bathroom. The location was convenient, close to stores, bus stop, and a beautiful waterfall. The staff, especially the lady at the restaurant, was amazing and made me feel welcome. The jungle setting was a delightful surprise.
One thing that could make the breakfast better would be more affordable prices for simple items like scrambled eggs with a side salad.

Large, clean room with new bathroom, solar heated shower. AC works well. 20 min walk or taxis to park. Jungle setting, awakened by howler monkeys. 1 km walk to waterfall. Wifi comes and goes. Good restaurant and more on the highway.

I recently stayed at Cabinas Los Laureles for a few days and it was a delightful experience. The food at the restaurant was exceptional, with a wide variety of dishes bursting with unique flavors. The cabins were nestled in a beautiful forest oasis, providing a tranquil and picturesque setting. The staff were incredibly helpful and made me feel right at home. I was also thrilled to spot various wildlife right on the property. my stay far exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend this lovely, family-run hotel.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

We had a wonderful stay at a welcoming place with friendly hosts. Cindy, one of the hosts, took the time to personally guide us through the restaurant's offerings and share recommendations for things to do in the city. The staff overall was really nice and made us feel at ease. The breakfast, although billed separately, was worth it with delicious food and perfect natural juices. The location was also a quiet spot in a beautiful area, away from the noise of the town. The cabina we stayed in was clean, spacious, and had a nice table and a hammock on the balcony. The hosts were incredibly helpful and made our stay pleasant. The restaurant stood out with amazing food and generous portions. we would highly recommend this place if you're in Uvita.

Stayed here for New Year's and had a great experience! the staff were so friendly and helpful, even picking us up when our bike broke down. the cabins were surrounded by a beautiful forest, perfect for nature lovers. Loved the free bike rentals and the decent shower and A/C in the cabins.
The lack of WiFi in the cabins. If you need internet access, you have to go to the reception/restaurant building.

We had a wonderful stay at Cabinas Los Laureles in Uvita! The cabana was tucked away in a forested area, surrounded by beautiful butterflies and birds. It had a lounge area, two bedrooms, and a bathroom, all without any adjoining neighbors. We especially loved the terrace where we could relax and enjoy the surroundings. The onsite restaurant served delicious food, and the friendly owners made us feel right at home. They even pointed out a sloth in a nearby tree, which was a fantastic experience. a delightful stay.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The grounds of this hotel were absolutely stunning, with lush and beautiful landscaping. The hotel room we stayed in was clean and comfortable, with a great shower and a cozy bed. We really enjoyed the peaceful and serene atmosphere of the hotel, surrounded by nature.
The service at this hotel left much to be desired. It was frustrating that the receptionist was often absent and had to be called from their house by another staff member.

The cabinas are located in a beautiful forested setting, offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. the owners of the cabinas were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay a pleasant experience. the location of the cabinas was also convenient, as it was within walking distance to the main part of town.
The accommodation itself was quite basic and lacked certain amenities. the rooms were spartan and would have benefited from additional furniture, such as a chair or night table.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
